| Neon Genesis Evangelion and Erased are overrated. Shinji Ikari isn't anything special either. Serial Experiments Lain is not only utterly boring, it's a terrible anime for having a plot that makes no sense whatsoever and failing to explain things. KonoSuba is bad and not funny at all. For a fantasy anime, the plot not going anywhere is a very bad flaw. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun also isn't funny (except the "Good day, my lord!" scene). School Days is fantastic and one of the most underrated anime ever. The amount of hate this show gets only because people dislike the characters annoys me. Sword Art Online has flaws, but it isn't bad. Stop acting like it's the worst anime ever when there is trash like Issho ni Sleeping: Sleeping with Hinako. Yosuga no Sora is great and like School Days, doesn't deserve such a low rating when going by MAL standards. The Madoka Magica and Kyoukai no Kanata sequel movies are completely pointless and ruin their respective franchises. |

| Earlier in this thread, I stated that Maison Ikkoku was the worst Anime I've ever seen. Let me update that. About an hour ago, I tried to watch "Urusei Yatsura," before dropping it at episode 3, and I can safely say that UY is the worst Anime I've ever seen. Rumiko Takahashi sucks. |

| Puella Magi Madoka Magica's ending was disappointing. Macross 7 has the best songs in the series. Sheryl Nome > Ranka Lee Nichijou and Daily Lives of Highschool Boys were lame. I got more feels watching a Hentai than from watching Clannad: After Story and Shigatsu Kimi no Uso. Shinobu Oshino is a boring character. I like the new Berserk anime (2016-2017) I liked Jigoku Shoujo: Mitsuganae more than Futakumori. Big Order was hilarious. Gundam SEED sucks. |

| I prefer episodic story telling to more plot focused ones. I'm usually never part of the group who complain about episodic anime and wish for it get to the plot. In fact, I sometimes find the show to worsen at that point. I'm fine with the last few episodes to be more about the central to plot so that I can have a conclusion, but some people act like episodic = bad. |

| 1. Miss Kobayashi's dragon maid is the most 5/10 anime around. Good character designs and the backgrounds are great but good god is it just "meh" and not as good as some communities make it out to be, you can even tell what's going to be in the next episode without even watching it. - Tohru tries to make Kobayashi eat her tail - Elma likes food - Lucoa has big tits - Shouta is embarrassed around Lucoa - Saikawa made the funny face again! - Kanna "asobitai" with a deadpan expression recurring jokes are okay just do something new with them it's the exact same setup and every time they cut to Tohru's world I wish the anime was about that. 2. If you don't care about quality when watching a visual medium then I question why you even watch anime/movies/cartoons, etc just shows you don't really give a shit about your hobby and you're most likely another obnoxious ironic weeb that's been popping up the last couple of years |

Pretty sure I saw one of these threads in the past that devolved in to everyone patting each-other on the back for saying they disliked Clannad, the lowest hanging of fruits (well maybe after Fairy Tail). It happens on all forums; anime, movies, TV shows, sports, lifestyle. Any unpopular opinions thread inevitably turns into a low key circlejerk. But I do always appreciate the handful of responses that truly go against the grain (and as a result may have people quoting them to disagree/unlikely to have others saying the same thing). |
| Ore Monogatari wasn't enjoyable at all. That perfect couple quickly got boring and I couldn't get involved in the story at all because it bugged me how perfect they were for each other and how little conflict appeared. I'm not saying there should be conflict all the time but it all just felt very artificial. |
